★Re-Elect★

Beckie Seba

For

Bentonville
City Council

Ward 1 Position 1

Early voting starts Oct. 19, 2026 Election Day Nov. 3, 2026

★ Why experience matters

Four years of real votes. Ready on day one.

Plenty of people advise the city. Council members cast the votes and answer for them. For four years, Beckie has done the homework and made the decisions that shape Bentonville, and Bentonville is growing too fast to start over.

  • She’s done the job

    Proven on the council

An ex officio member of three city boards (Airport, Active Transportation and Public Art) and votes on the city budget every year.

  • She asks first

    Plan Bentonville

Before the city wrote its new community code, Beckie and the council asked residents to weigh in on their own neighborhoods. Now she’ll apply that plan the same way every time.

  • She’s from here

    Bentonville roots

In Bentonville since 2003. A former Bentonville Public Schools teacher, a Realtor and small business owner, who raised her family in Ward 1.

  • She watches costs

    Affordable again

Cutting the delays and red tape that stretch the time to build, and allowing the right homes where roads and utilities already exist.

“Developers, neighborhoods and property owners should all know the rules before they walk in the room. That is what a plan is for.”

Beckie Seba works for quality of life and sustainable growth in a city facing historic growth. Re-elect her so she can help keep Bentonville a great place to live, work and raise a family.

For the last four years, Beckie has been your voice on local issues, including the city budget, transportation infrastructure, airport issues and public art policy. She meets regularly with residents to shape public policy that makes wise use of your tax dollars.

Beckie is running to eliminate red tape and lower costs for residents, businesses and developers. It is time to make Bentonville affordable again.

★ What Beckie stands for

Priorities for the next term

  • Family Values

Bentonville should stay a place where families want to raise kids: public safety, neighborly streets, and a city government that respects the values of the people who live here.

  • Safer Streets for All Users

Sidewalks, crossings and trails planned with the people who use them, so kids can get to school and neighbors can get to the square safely.

  • Property Owner’s Rights

People who own property in Bentonville deserve clear rules and a fair process. Beckie stands up for owners when the city reaches further than it should.

  • Responsible Growth

New houses and businesses should cover the roads, utilities and public safety they create, and Plan Bentonville should be applied the same way every time.

  • Careful Budgets

Watch the budget, say no to spending that doesn’t serve residents, and protect police, fire, streets, parks and the basic services people expect.

  • Housing People Can Afford

Allow the right kinds of homes where infrastructure already exists, and cut the delays and regulations that stretch the time to build. Beckie is also exploring a builders’ co-op, so developers who need the same materials, like water pipe, can buy in bulk together and save.

★ Four years on the council

A record, not a slogan

Council work is mostly unglamorous: boards, budgets, plans and showing up. Here is the work Beckie has been part of since taking office in 2023.

Long-range plan

Plan Bentonville

Served on the council that adopted the Bentonville Community Plan in February 2025. The next term is about applying it consistently, so the plan is a promise and not a suggestion.

Walking & biking

30 Miles of Trails

About 30 miles of trails in three years, including tunnels like the one under Highway 102 from P Street to the Walmart Home Office that connect Bentonville High School and reconnect the Razorback Greenway from Bella Vista to Fayetteville.

Ex officio member

Airport Advisory Board

Sits on the board as an ex officio member, so airport planning, operations and long-term decisions stay connected to the full council.

Ex officio member

Active Transportation Advisory Board

The board advises the mayor and council on trails and bikeway policy, speaks for the community on walking and biking, and keeps programs lined up with what residents want.

Getting around

Transit with ORT

Supported expanding Ozark Regional Transit, including a downtown fixed route and continued on-demand service, so more residents can get around without a second car.

Room to grow

Sewer for Growth

The city secured a sewer loan from the Alice Walton Foundation to build the sewer infrastructure Bentonville needs for development to continue.

Ex officio member

Public Art Advisory Board

Sits as an ex officio member with the board that guides public art so projects fit Bentonville and follow what the city approved.

Your assets

City Property

City land shouldn’t sit idle. Surplus property should be sold or put to a specific public use the city actually needs.

Your tax dollars

City Budget

Votes on the city budget each year with one test: does this spending serve the people who pay for it?

★ Meet Beckie

Bentonville is home

  • In Bentonville since 2003
  • Former Bentonville teacher
  • EVP, Weichert, Realtors®
  • Small business owner
  • Married to a ’97 BHS grad
  • Parent of BHS students

Show up for kids, tell the truth about tradeoffs, and leave the city better than you found it.

Beckie and her husband, Bryan, have lived in Bentonville since 2003 and raised their family in Ward 1. She is a former Bentonville Public Schools teacher, a small business owner and an Executive Vice President with Weichert, Realtors – The Griffin Company. She holds a degree from Texas A&M (Class of 1999) and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Sacred Heart University.

Beckie leads 11th grade girls with Fellowship Student Ministries and coached young cyclists for three years with the National Interscholastic Cycling Association. She knows the housing market because she works in it, and she knows neighborhoods because she lives in one. That helps when the question is where homes should go, how long a permit should take, and whether a project matches the plan.

Faith is why she serves. Her verse for running, and for staying on the council, is Jeremiah 29:7: “Seek the welfare of the city … for in its welfare you will find your welfare.” As a Christian, she believes being involved matters. In her words, borrowing a line from Allie Beth Stuckey: “Politics matters because policy matters because people matter.”

★ Questions

Good to know

What does a city council member do?

The council sets the city budget, passes city ordinances, and decides zoning and land-use cases. Members also serve on city boards, like Beckie’s work with the Airport Advisory Board.

Can I vote for Beckie if I don’t live in Ward 1?

Yes. Council members live in and represent a ward, but the election is citywide. If you live in Bentonville and are registered, this race is on your ballot.

How can I bring a concern to Beckie?

Call or text the campaign at (479) 402-7947 or email sebaforcitycouncil@gmail.com. City business still goes through the city; the campaign doesn’t use official council email.

Where can I get a yard sign?

Text Beckie at (479) 402-7947 with your address and she’ll deliver one.
